Position Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Crew Members. As a Crew Member at Aloha Acai Bowls, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our customers by crafting açai bowls, preparing smoothies, brewing coffee, and handling cashier duties. You will have the opportunity to engage with customers, showcase your creativity in food and beverage preparation, and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized café environment.

 

Responsibilities:

• Craft delicious and visually appealing açai bowls according to standard recipes and customer preferences.

• Prepare a variety of smoothies using fresh fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients, ensuring quality and consistency in taste.

• Brew coffee and espresso beverages to company standards, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the coffee preparation area.

• Provide friendly and efficient customer service, greeting customers, taking orders, and accurately processing transactions through the POS system.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including food preparation areas, serving stations, and dining areas.

• Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices.

• Assist with restocking ingredients, supplies, and merchandise as needed.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special events.

• Uphold Alohana Acai Bowls' commitment to delivering exceptional quality and service to every customer.

 

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service, preferably in a café, restaurant, or similar environment.

• Knowledge of açai bowls, smoothie-making techniques, and coffee preparation is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.

• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

• Basic math skills for processing transactions and handling cash.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.

• Flexible schedule with availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
